Hi there,

As the planet rushes towards a celebration period from Thanksgiving through to the Chinese New Year, with multiple religious festivals in between, I wish all my readers the very best at their chosen festivity.

I’ve had a hectic few weeks… travel, bronchitis, movie-making and beta reading…

TRAVEL

My wife and I took a vacation in Istanbul. It’s an amazingly cosmopolitan city where east meets west and cultures mix. I couldn’t make it to Göbekli Tepe* this time, but it’ll still be there on my next visit. But I DID cross the Bosphorous, the river that divides Europe from Asia, letting me set foot in Asia for the first time!

(* Göbekli Tepe is a Neolithic settlement over 10,000 years old and a four-hour flight from Istanbul.)

BRONCHITIS

This was a souvenir from my travels. Hit me hard for a few days.

MOVIE-MAKING 

After my first attempts with YouTube, I refined the original video of Galaxies and Fantasies and created a new video telling one of the stories from the collection: Total Lockdown.
